As in most museums you are not allowed to use flash, I had some problems with blurring. The contrast between the modern setting of the museum and the ancient artifact was very striking.
Nice shots girlfriend!!! Hey, I hope you "borrowed" a big sack of gold while you were in there for us to split........a small sack then???
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a wonderful time. Tell hot-bunns I said hello and I am looking at Edgar right now.........

oh you bad girl.... in this country you don't even consider joking with the police or stealing anything... yesterday while at the museum there was a special saints day service at a cathedral and a protest accross the street in front of a government building and there were police everywhere with big guns and shields that said don't mess with me...
ReplyDeletehot bunns has been sick this whole trip, I think alergies - right now he is napping (again!)
Ginger, keep all the great photos and post coming, I am just loving "traveling along with you" to all these fabulous places that you have been/are going! Wow, who ever thought that I would get to travel and see the world right from the comfort of my chair whil I listen to Simply Red on YouTube!! Take care, have fun, and I hope that hubby is feeling better! Debby
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all these beautiful things. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
ReplyDeleteWow so beautiful thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThose photos are just gorgeous. You should not have mentioned the blurred photos. They are so beautiful, no one would have noticed.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll take the colored beads.
Nice to know you are enjoying everything. You are really painting the town, GingerV. Do you want to adopt me?
I know I know - I liked them anyway. for $25 you can buy a book of perfect photos. I loved the experience. kisses
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat Ginger! Something I would never get to see especially from a friend's perspective. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour shots were amazing and wonderful and for me they also suddenly brought back a rush of memories. I remember going to the Museo del Oro years and years ago when I was in Colombia. I had forgotten it until this morning! Thank you for bringing it back. I remember, then, there was an exhibit room on "Pirates and Cutthroats" and the pirates were all the heroes American History books had told me were famous explorers. History depends on what country you live in.
ReplyDeleteGinger- awesome as always girl!
