Surrounded by…

You all know that what pops into my mind when I read the FSO topic is what I usually end up going with.  Well this topic brought ‘surrounded by the sea, waves and the sky’  now I am not a sailor, don’t really even like getting wet in a swimming pool so why this phrase?  This isn’t even apropos to Houston; here I would have to say, ‘Grassland, swamp and sky.’  Doesn’t sound as romantic does it?  But this thought took me back to one of my favorite natural places in the Houston area, The Brazos Bend State Park.  Remember ‘walking with alligators’ post a year or more ago.   Of course you remember…..

If nothing else comes from this thought process I at least got to go through my archives and enjoy the photos once again.  Now the Surrounded by photos.

  3. I like every thing but the croc. I would not like to be surrounded by them!

  4. I know what you mean about something popping into your head and staying there until you go with it. I started off last week with "Mud, mud, glorious mud, nothing quite like it for cooling the blood." I think your water idea worked out really well. Not everyone could produce dangerous reptiles - I do love that last shot. Good luck with the Spotlights! :)

  5. Oh it looks so peaceful and pretty....but not those alligators. I just hate those things and will take our icy blizzard filled winters over them any day.

  7. Awesome. I love your theme. I bet nobody else has alligators or crocodiles.

I've been so busy lately with out of town company that I haven't been able to post as much as I want to. I missed the FTSO this week. My fingers are crossed that I'll post in next week's theme.
