Hello from the Paris Airport

Well this trip has gotten off to a great start. I finally got to the first of the computer/internet usage line at the airport in Paris. It is snowing outside - I've taken photos but all my gadgets for download are in the suitcase. The first leg of our trip went just fine. Now instead of an hour's wait to go on to Rome for a visit with Camillo's sister, we will wait nearly 9 hours - and then there is no guarantees for a timely departure. All flights to Italy this morning have been canceled or delayed. They just announced over the loud speakers that a flight that was loading would have a 40 wait on board.   I HATE that.   The seats are bad enough when you are actually moving, but to sit there confined is the worst. In compensation for nature's nature during the holiday,  AF gave us vouchers to eat anywhere in the airport, but where do you find restaurants, I see only bars. "Oh the weather outside...." "jingle bells...." "deck the halls"........ fa la la la.... be back when I can.

Bye.

  1. A Big Jingle Bells back to you. Checked outside...no snow, no Santa, just those damn palm trees. :-)

    Have fun!

  9. OK, i think if we travel in the dead of winter there should be no schedules, no time frame, free food, free hotel.Sounds like a plan?
